The woman behind the lens…
For as long as I can remember, I have always had an appreciation for photography. That appreciation stemmed into a long time hobby, which in turn, opened a door to a new career.
There is no greater compliment from a client than to hear an excited gasp as they view a photograph that’s been prepared for them or to see a photo I’ve created proudly hanging in their home for all to see.
My goal is just that – To capture memories that your family can cherish for years to come. To capture the emotions of the proud parents-to-be; the wonder of a newborn baby; the spirit of the inquisitive toddler; or the spunky personality of a preschooler.
Please contact me to discuss your photographic needs and I will be more than happy to help you capture your special memories!
Did you know?
…The majority of my life’s work has been centered around children.
For the last ten years, I have worked as a child care provider. I began my career working with children at a reputable child development center, which was accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. During my five years employed there, I worked to receive my Child Development Associate credential. I primarily worked in the infant and toddler classrooms, with children ages six weeks to three years old. When I was expecting my first child, I bought a home and relocated to Sullivan County, where I then opened a family day care program from our home. Over the course of the last ten years I have cared for over 50 children! 50! … And I remember each and every one. Most of those children, I cared for every work day from the time they were six weeks and entered the program until they were three years old and moved to the preschool program. And yes, as you can imagine, I have lots of photos from the last ten years.
… I’m a mommy too!
Alorah is my eight year old spunky second grader!
She’s quite the entertaining little lady. You’ll see her photos featured on the site quite a bit. She’s just such a good little model for Mommy.
And little miss Alorah is a big sister too! My five year old son Jacob is my little love bug. He is all-boy! Mischievous, tough, and full of energy! If you see an adorable photo of him featured on the site, it should be considered nothing short of a photographic miracle. He is always on the move!
