The woman behind the lens…

For as long as I can remember, I have always had an appreciation for photography. That appreciation stemmed into a long time hobby, which in turn, opened a door to a new career.

There is no greater compliment from a client than to hear an excited gasp as they view a photograph that’s been prepared for them or to see a photo I’ve created proudly hanging in their home for all to see.

My goal is just that – To capture memories that your family can cherish for years to come. To capture the emotions of the proud parents-to-be; the wonder of a newborn baby; the spirit of the inquisitive toddler; or the spunky personality of a preschooler.

Please contact me to discuss your photographic needs and I will be more than happy to help you capture your special memories!

Viva Peru!

I know this will be out of the norm for me, seeing as this photo post will not be bellies, babies, or beaming children…  but I needed to share. My husband and I had the opportunity to go visit the Amazon Rainforest this summer for our annual vacation. We stayed at a new resort called Treehouse Lodge, located near Nauta, Peru. You can only get to the lodge by boat, traveling down the Amazon River to a tributary river called the Yarapa. The Treehouse Lodge, as the name implies, is comprised of eight treehouses. Not cabins on stilts, mind you, but actual legitimate treehouses. It was an amazing adventure that we will never forget.  If you’re interested, their website is I highly, HIGHLY recommend the trip if it’s something that interests you. They were amazing.  Here are a few photos from our trip…

Sweet Siblings

These two… Oh they make my heart happy. My goofy, kind-hearted, entirely-too-energetic kids. For shame on me! It had been WAAAY too long since I had taken a sibling picture of my own kids. Go figure, right? I have a … Continue reading
